Star Tribune Names Lifeworks Services, Inc. a 2022 Top Workplace

Lifeworks Services, Inc. has been named a 2022 Top Workplace in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. Lifeworks was ranked #28 within mid-sized companies – the highest rating for a nonprofit organization in this category.

“We are honored to receive this state-wide recognition, especially because responses from our staff determine it,” said Gertrude Matemba-Mutasa, President and Chief Executive Officer at Lifeworks. “I’m proud of our team’s work to partner and support people with disabilities as we live and work together. Lifeworks employees are incredibly dedicated and work hard, so this honor directly reflects who they are and the culture they’ve helped create.”

The Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 79,000 employees at Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations.

The Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces rankings are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses. To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 4,000 companies were invited to participate.

“All the thanks goes to our team who makes Lifeworks a great place to work every day,” said Jennifer Evans-Hall, Vice President of Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion. “We continually strive to ensure Lifeworks is an inclusive workplace. We truly believe our staff is our greatest resource, and this recognition reinforces that.”
