About Free Navigation
Free Navigation at Lifeworks supports people with disabilities and their families through instruction and guidance using a person-centered approach. We offer 30-minute sessions to people with disabilities and their families who are unsure about where to start with disability services. No waiver or case manager is needed!
We can help with:
- Understanding how to begin disability services, including what to expect and what options may be available.
- Contacting programs or providers on behalf of an individual, such as day programs, employment services, disability resources, or community supports.
- Pointing people toward services that can help with factors affecting well-being including housing stability, food access, healthcare needs, safety, transportation, and other essential supports.
- Providing referrals, helping individuals connect with trusted service providers or community resources.

Eligibility for Free Navigation
All people with disabilities and their families that need help getting started with disability services in Minnesota are eligible for a free Navigation session. No waiver, VRS, or payment required!
