Participants will leave the class with a transition checklist as well as a broad overview of the services and support available to help them avoid the “transition cliff,” ensuring a smooth and successful transition into adulthood.

Course Details
- Thursday, September 11, 2025
- 5:30 – 7:00 PM
- In-person at Lifeworks Center for Disability Inclusion – New Hope, 7508 N 42nd Ave, New Hope, MN 55428
- Ideal for students ages 14 to 22 – families are highly encouraged to attend
- Free to attend – registration required
- Each student participant may be accompanied by two support people (parent, guardian, PCA, etc.) for the class
- Snacks and drinks provided
- Quiet room available, fully wheelchair accessible, adult changing table in bathroom
Class Size is Limited
Only 15 student participants per session. Early registration is encouraged. A waitlist of 20 is available once the class fills. If there is a high interest via the waitlist, we will host this class again.
