Lifeworks Annual Celebration Raises $425,000!

Annual Celebration 2016

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and donors, the Lifeworks Annual Celebration – our yearly event honoring individuals with disabilities and the people and businesses that support them – raised $425,000 in 2016!

The total includes more than $205,000 in sponsorships, led by Presenting Sponsors Atomic Data and Hanratty & Associates.

“We are so grateful to have such tremendous support from our sponsors, including many who continue to give year after year,” said Judy Lysne, who emceed her final Annual Celebration as President and CEO of Lifeworks.

In addition to over $18,000 raised through our auctions, event attendees donated more than $150,000 to support transportation at Lifeworks, including a generous matching gift from ConvergeOne.

In honor of Lysne’s 43-year career at Lifeworks, donors Tom and Gwen Ryan and Atomic Data CEO Jim Wolford and his wife Amy each donated $25,000 after attendees watched a video celebrating her legacy.

“I am so humbled by the generosity of our community,” Lysne said. “Tom and Gwen’s gift came as such a surprise since they were unable to attend, and I’m deeply grateful for the support from Jim and Amy.”

After taking a year off to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2015, the Lifeworks Annual Awards returned this year and were sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota.
