Lifeworks Multi-Sensory Environments
Lifeworks Multi-Sensory Environments are designed to help people with autism, sensory processing difficulties or other challenging conditions, integrate their senses so they are able to focus, learn, and interact with those around them. Initially created for clients served in our Social Enrichment programs, Lifeworks has expanded access of the Multi-Sensory Environments to other children and adults who could benefit. This is an innovative service overseen by an occupational therapist. It is a self-directed and pleasant experience that does not require additional home programming, with effects lasting beyond the session.
Lifeworks Multi-Sensory Environments are available at Lifeworks Brooklyn Park, Lifeworks Burnsville, Lifeworks Eagan, Lifeworks Hastings, and Lifeworks Mankato.
Lifeworks Music Therapy
Lifeworks Music Therapy is facilitated by a full-time, Board-certified neurologic music therapist. Music therapy helps individuals develop cognitive, physical, social, and communication skills that encourage independence and build confidence.
