Ayan Alinur

Ayan Alinur has worked in the social services field for six years as a refugee resettlement case manager, community/direct support staff and as a contracted CADI and DD waiver case manager for both Ramsey and Hennepin counties. Ayan is excited to continue the work she is passionate about by helping clients and their families get person-centered services that will enhance their quality of life. Ayan recently moved to Minnesota from New York and is fluent in Somali and Swahili. In her free time, Ayan likes to go for walks, play rugby, eat Sushi, and spend time with her family and friends.

Kelly Anderson

Kelly Anderson has been working in the human services field for more than 20 years and strives to be empathetic to the needs of her clients while providing a solution to each unique situation. She feels passionate about providing people choices to live their lives to the fullest and with meaning. In her personal life, she loves to be outdoors biking, playing tennis, walking, and being
active. She also enjoys spending time with her family.

Kia Xiong

Kia Xiong began working with Lifeworks in August of 2018. Kia earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Kia has been working in the disability sector for over seven years and has experience with waiver case management and service coordination. Kia lives in White Bear Lake with her family and two children. Kia enjoys traveling with family, taking walks in the park, and working out!

CDCS allows participants to take greater control over their day-to-day care and make critical decisions, including hiring support workers and purchasing necessary accommodations.

Consumer Support Grant (CSG)

CSG is a county-funded cash grant that allows people to purchase goods, services, and staffing through self-direction.
